Selamat Datang! Welcome!
The Southeast Asian country of Malaysia must be one of our favourite destinations. Comprised of two halves, East Malaysia with the states of Sabah and Sarawak on the island of Borneo is separated from the Peninsular Malaysia by the South China Sea. Malaysia is a country with so much to offer and ticks all our boxes!

If you would like a truly multicultural experience with incredible wildlife, natural beauty, beautiful beaches, historic heritage sites, shopping, amazing street art and some of the best street food around, then this is the perfect destination to volunteer in.

Our projects take place in the states of Perak and Penang on the north-west side of the peninsula. Our focus is primarily on wildlife facing huge challenges, like orangutans, elephants and turtles.

Malaysia is a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic country with many different spiritual beliefs. Its people are from various backgrounds such as the Malay, indigenous tribes, Malaysian Chinese and Malaysian Indians. We trust you will fall in love with this beautiful country like we have!

Please be aware of cultural differences and dress appropriately when visiting the many mosques and temples. For those booked on our projects in Malaysia, cultural sensitivity will be discussed in our project information packs.
